Crowd Convert, a new company founded by attractions industry veteran Andy Povey and digital expert Paul Marden, has officially launched with the company aiming to transform digital engagement for visitor attractions.
Bringing together decades of leadership in ticketing, digital transformation and guest conversion strategies, Crowd Convert will offer solutions that bridge the gap between online and on-site guest experiences.
Crowd Convert is opting to remain independent in its operations, avoiding large-scale investment to ensure that every decision is guided by industry expertise and the real needs of attractions and their guests.
“Attractions of all sizes face the challenge of fragmented digital experiences, where ticketing, marketing and operations often operate in silos,” said Andy Povey, who has over 25 years of experience in the leisure industry, including previously leading guest acquisition strategies at Merlin Entertainment Group and holding senior positions in eCommerce and ticketing companies. “We created Crowd Convert to eliminate these pain points by offering intuitive, human-centric digital solutions that increase guest engagement and boost conversion rates.”
Joining Povey is Paul Marden, CEO of Rubber Cheese and an expert in digital platforms and technology solutions. Marden’s experience complements Povey’s expertise by ensuring Crowd Convert’s products remain cutting-edge, user-friendly and effective for attractions of all sizes.
“Crowd Convert was born from a shared realisation that the guest experience in the attractions industry is often fragmented, with operators juggling multiple systems for ticketing, retail and hospitality,” said Marden.
“We built Crowd Convert to streamline this process, creating a unified approach that prioritises guest satisfaction while simplifying operations for venues. Without investor agendas driving our decisions, we’re free to focus entirely on what the industry actually needs - technology that enhances, rather than replaces, human connection.”
Crowd Convert’s busy launch schedule includes the rollout of advanced personalisation tools for tailored visitor journeys, integrated ticketing systems for streamlined online and on-site sales, and powerful analytics tools that help attractions make smarter business decisions. Each of these solutions has been crafted with the unique needs of the attractions industry in mind, offering practical, effective support as venues look to evolve and adapt.
