Simworx, a specialist in dynamic media-based attractions, has partnered with immersive entertainment company Mindscape Creative to launch Truth Traveler, a new bespoke virtual reality (VR) experience that takes visitors on a journey through biblical history.
Opened in June in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, US, the attraction combines VR technology and Simworx’ 3DOF motion benches, with bespoke media content, synchronised special effects and highly-themed environments to fully immerse visitors in the on-screen action.
Riders enter the experience via the Inventor’s office where they are introduced to a cast of characters in a special pre-show, before boarding a custom elevator simulator to the VR bay-equipped flight deck where they embark on a “thrilling yet meaningful” adventure through time.
Also located on-site is Rea’s Planetarium, a new astronomical-themed exhibit, along with themed food and beverage options at Timeless Treats and a retail store offering exclusive merchandise.

Truth Traveler was developed in collaboration with Answers in Genesis, a Christian non-profit known for its interpretation of biblical history, which informs the attraction’s narrative focus. The organisation also operates the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum attractions in Kentucky.
Creative media for the attraction was produced by global content studio The Mill, while Kingdom Productions delivered the attraction’s detailed “retro-futuristic” theming.
A second Truth Traveler attraction is already underway in Branson, Missouri, where it will take up residence in the former Andy Williams Moon River Theater.
The launch of Truth Traveler marks Simworx’s second major opening in 2025, following the debut of the Helios Experience, a 4D cinema attraction at the Portlantis visitor centre in the Netherlands this April.
