A new museum celebrating the life and career of Portuguese footballing icon Cristiano Ronaldo has opened in Hong Kong.
Located at the K11 Art & Cultural Centre in Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, the CR7 LIFE Museum offers an immersive journey through Ronaldo’s storied career, from his early days in Portugal to his global stardom.
The 12,000sq ft (1,115sq m) space features more than 40 exhibits blending interactive installations, rare memorabilia, and multimedia storytelling.
Exhibit highlights include a recreation of Ronaldo’s early-career bedroom in Lisbon, life-sized statues of the former Manchester United player, and displays of match-worn jerseys and football boots.
A dozen of Ronaldo’s personal trophies are also on display, including his 2008 Ballon d’Or, FIFA Club World Cup Golden Ball, and Golden Boot awards.
The museum also features a replica of Ronaldo’s YouTube studio, where VIP ticket holders can explore the set used to film content for his UR Cristiano YouTube channel, which has garnered more than 76 million subscribers and over 800 million views to date.
Designed to inspire as well as inform, the museum includes motivational content to encourage visitors to pursue excellence.
The museum launched on July 7, with fans waiting in line for almost two hours to enter. It is projected to attract more than 12 million visitors before closing in June 2026, at which point it will relocate to mainland China.
The CR7 LIFE Museum is the third official CR7 attraction, joining the CR7 Museum in Funchal, Portugal, and the CR7 Signature Museum in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
“Capture my passion for football, experience the journey through my career: the places, the people, the trophies, the memories. This is my life, inside and outside the field, and can only be seen at the Life Museum in Hong Kong,” Ronaldo wrote on his website.
