IAAPA Expo 2023: RWS Global to showcase 2023 project highlights in trade show debut

RWS Global will make its trade show debut at this year’s IAAPA Expo, with the company set to showcase its projects from the past 12 months

RWS Global, a full-service provider of visitor attractions and live experiences, will debut its first-ever booth at this year’s IAAPA Expo.

The booth will offer attendees a glimpse at RWS Global and its subsidiaries JRA, ted and ARC’s diverse portfolio of services, which encompass the full spectrum of live entertainment creation; from master planning, music and media and show production, as well as retail and merchandising and seasonal decór.

Representatives from RWS Global will also be on hand to discuss its recent projects, which include the production and management of more than 55 Halloween-themed activations and mazes for the likes of Six Flags, Legoland and Hersheypark, among others.

In addition, the company’s partnership with Iberostar Resorts will see RWS Global provide turnkey creative and operational entertainment services, including immersive F&B offerings, kids experiences and stage productions, at more than 14 Iberostar hotels around the world.

Similarly, its collaboration with MSC Cruises has seen the company develop two immersive performance venues onboard the MSC World Europa. The team also continues to produce and manage immersive productions, live dance and music performances, cabaret shows and guests acts aboard cruise ships for operators such as Princess Cruises, Azamara, Holland America Line and MSC Cruises.

JRA, meanwhile, provided master planning, design and implementation services for several major experiences, including the Cincinnati Black Music Walk of Fame and View Boston.

JRA also worked on the recently-opened Hasbro City FEC in Mexico City, which features several themed attractions including interactive and VR experiences, rides, bumper cars, character shows, active play spaces, skill games, F&B offerings and the region’s first Hasbro-themed retail store.

The company is also continuing its partnership with Original X Productions, working on several touring exhibitions such as ‘The Friends Experience’, ‘Harry Potter: Magic at Play’ and ’The Office Experience’.

ted, meanwhile, was named the exclusive entertainment provider for Voyager, the newest addition to the Marella Cruises’s fleet. As part of the partnership, ted will develop original theatre shows, musical performances, immersive experiences, arts and crafts classes, deck parties, children’s concepts and more for the ship.

ted has also managed the design, production and casting of a horror maze for Parque Warner Madrid, as well as provided character development, music and media, and resort enhancements for Netherlands-based destination resort Roompot.

IAAPA Expo 2023

The premier event for the global attractions industry, IAAPA Expo returns once again from November 13-17, 2023 to the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.

Featuring a sold out trade show floor made up of more than 1,100 exhibitors from around the world alongside a comprehensive education programme with more than 100 sessions led by industry experts across a multitude of topics, the Expo represents the largest gathering of amusement park and attractions professionals anywhere in the world.
