A new to market technology is being promoted as a first-of-its-kind product for the themed entertainment industry.
Developed by Falcon’s Creative Group, the ÄEONXP ecosystem will allow visitors to attractions, live events and branded destinations to create a personalised experience, working across multiple networks to “connect guests to a larger universe of play and possibility”.
What this means is that traditional attractions and event experiences can be transformed for guests into more immersive and gamified worlds. Within these worlds, choices and behavior create player agency, with extended role-playing potentially extending even beyond the venue itself.
ÄEONXP can track in real-time, with the system also reacting to the player's behaviour. According to Falcon’s Creative, a guest's performance and preferences can even influence or alter the narrative trajectory of their experiences in the venue, which encourages repeatability and “infinite possibilities”.
Within the application, users will set up a personalised profile, meaning they can access different experiences, upgrades, and rewards. The more an individual engages with the application, the more they will be able to enhance their experience, “both on-site and at home”, with visitors able to review their rankings, earn additional points, update their profiles, evolve their avatars, and unlock new tools, abilities, aesthetics, and lore from the comfort of their own homes. Players can also redeemed points earned at the attraction, which could be used for either physical or digital rewards.
"The ÄEONXP ecosystem represents the ultimate combination of attraction design, multiplayer gaming, and immersive cross-platform storytelling," said Cecil D. Magpuri, president and chief creative officer of Falcon's Creative.
"In a way, it's a hybrid solution because it directly benefits owners and operators as well as guests who seek a more personalised experience."
One operator has already signed up to ÄEONXP, with Katmandu Parks recently committing to activating the system for its existing and upcoming developments worldwide.
