Attractions management specialist Convious says it’s planning to unleash the power of dynamic pricing in 2024 with the company set to introduce new features designed to align with evolving consumer behaviour.
Focusing on two key aspects of customer engagement, first, the Early Bird pricing algorithm encourages guests to plan ahead by offering decreasing prices as the visit date moves further into the future. This rewards early bookings and ensures operators secure revenues in advance, which is particularly beneficial for pre-season sales. The tiered pricing structure, says Convious, also creates a win-win scenario, incentivising customers to plan ahead while providing operators with enhanced cash flow predictability.
Second, the Buy First, Pay Less strategy dynamically adjusts prices based on the number of tickets sold for a specific date. This approach promotes early purchasing behaviour and enables operators to generate more revenue during peak periods while strategically planning for quieter days. By rewarding customers for being among the first to buy, this model ensures increased bookings and optimal operational planning.
“Convious' dynamic pricing feature stands out as a versatile tool, responding to the intricacies of consumer behaviour and industry dynamics, ultimately empowering businesses to maximise revenue and enhance customer satisfaction,” said the company.
