The 2022 edition of the Dubai Entertainment, Amusement & Leisure (DEAL) expo will return this March.

This year’s show will encompass an extensive tradeshow with exhibitors showcasing the latest industry innovations.

Thousands of visitors, including operators, investors and developers, from more than 70 countries are expected to attend, including delegates from several GCC and African countries, as well as the UK, US, Asia and the Middle East.

Taking place at the Dubai World Trade Centre between 28 and 30 March, the three-day event will host more than 300 exhibitors – including several major industry players such as WhiteWater, Zamperla, Polin Waterparks and ProSlide – showcasing products and services across six major categories: Amusement rides, entertainment, games & devices, gifts & souvenirs, museums & galleries and themed retail & entertainment

DEAL has also partnered with the Middle East & North Africa Leisure & Attractions Council (MENALAC) to host the Leisure, Entertainment & Attractions (LEA) Conference by MENALAC, which will run alongside the tradeshow.

Described as ‘a conference for the industry by the industry’, the LEA Conference will offer a number of education sessions covering topics such as ride safety standards, loss prevention, risk management, ride design and safety compliance, as well as the MENALAC awards, which recognise excellence and achievement in the Middle East and North African attractions industries.

“We’re a trade show that has been running for 28 years consecutively, it is a landmark achievement for us but also the entire industry as we have all grown together. We will continue to recreate history through our 2022 edition as well,” said Sharif Rahman, CEO of International Expo-Consults LLC.

“UAE has multiple, award-winning entertainment venues nestled in the country. With a host of theme parks such as IMG World of Adventure, Legoland Hotel Motiongate, Bollywood Parks, Ferrari World and many more, the country has redefined entertainment.”

“The region is undergoing a massive transformation and, as a result, a lot of growth is expected to originate from the changes. DEAL is, therefore, highly significant in helping the entertainment and leisure industry in the MENA region to expand and register growth.”
