Universal Orlando is about to say goodbye to a long-running attraction with the operator confirming the permanent closure of Poseidon’s Fury from next month.
The live-action attraction, which sees guests follow an archeologist guide through the ruins of the ancient Temple of Poseidon, will have its final show at Islands of Adventure on May 10.
Universal did not provide a reason for the show's ending, but said the closure comes as the resort prepares for “exciting new experiences”. The show made its debut on May 28, 1999.
