Tate takes Turner Prize-winning art on the road with museum on wheels

Tate is to take some of the masterpieces in its collection out of storage and on the road in a ‘Mobile Museum’ which will visit communities across the Liverpool City Region.






Tate is to take some of the masterpieces in its collection out of storage and on the road in a ‘Mobile Museum’ which will visit communities across the Liverpool City Region.

In partnership with international art foundation Art Explora, the project will see the ‘MuMo’ lorry, which has been converted into a gallery on wheels, take a 10-week tour across communities in St Helens, Knowsley, Sefton, Wirral, Halton and Liverpool until April 2023.
