Old Operating Theatre Museum partners with Vennersys to modernise attraction management system

Vennersys has announced a partnership with the Old Operating Theatre Museum and Herb Garret, which will see the online ticketing and integrated POS provider install its VenposCloud attraction management software at the heritage attraction.

Vennersys has announced a partnership with the Old Operating Theatre Museum and Herb Garret, which will see the online ticketing and integrated POS provider install its VenposCloud attraction management software at the heritage attraction.

Located in central London, the attraction is a museum of surgical history and is home to one of the world’s oldest surviving operating theatres, with the historic site dating back to the early 18th century.

Designed to simplify management of attraction, the theatre has elected to adopt the VenposCloud system for all admissions and special events ticketing, on-site shop and bar sales, gift vouchers, online donations, gift-aid, and memberships.

The theatre will also utilise the consultation side of the Vennersys, offering and upgrading the museum’s points of sale in accordance with their recommendations.

“We currently have five separate systems that all perform a different role in our ticketing and sales system and is rather cumbersome and time consuming to run,” said Nick Thorp, Front of House and Facilities officer at The Old Operating Theatre.

“We want to integrate and streamline our system into one that is easily manageable and Vennersys has ticked a lot of our boxes for doing all that we wanted to happen.”
