Night at the Manor combines special effects with motion and larger-than-life visuals
Kraftwerk Living Technologies (KLT), an integrated media and technology specialist, has expanded its range of turnkey immersive theatre attractions with the launch of a new 4D experience; Night at the Manor.
Developed to meet growing demands for both reliable technology and high-end turnkey solutions, the concept combines several special effects with motion and ‘larger-than-life’ visuals.
Aimed at audiences of all ages, the 4D theatre experience takes visitors on a magical adventure through an abandoned manor house.
The experience begins in the attraction’s preshow area, where guests are separated into two groups, before being told about the long-abandoned stately manor on the edge of town that is due to be demolished.
Visitors are then led into the theatre, where they accompany a group of teenagers and their cat as they journey through the manor in search of a legendary magical music box. The experience culminates in an ‘astonishing transformation’ of both the screen and theatre.
Sun Dark
The announcement of Night at the Manor follows the recent news that KLT has developed a similar experience, Sun Dark; which explores the impact climate change has had on life on Earth.
The story, also developed by Fractal Picture, is set 80-years in the future, in the year 2100, and explores how the climate crisis has affected the planet.
Kevin Murphy, director of sales and marketing at KLT, said: “From the first moment to the last, the audience is immersed in the story through complex motion, massive visuals and explosive sound.”
“As the attraction has been developed from the ground up, the team has had the advantage of tailoring each technical element to suit the stunning storyline, taking guests on a journey like no other they have experienced before.
“Thrilling for all audience age groups and using fun, educational and inspiring storytelling, Sun Dark delivers a strong and clear message about our need to work together globally, using the power of innovation to ensure a sustainable future for all.”
