Boasting 99% positive feedback from its users, the Knoebels Amusement Resort app has expanded its offering, working with Attractions.io to add native purchasing to the popular platform

Knoebels Amusement Resort - the largest free-admission theme park in the US - has announced the expansion of its mobile app from Attractions.io.
Several years on from adopting the Attractions.io platform, the park’s app now includes native purchasing, allowing visitors to pre-purchase tickets, passes, and premium experiences.
As a result, the park will be able to forecast attendance better and streamline the entry processes, speeding up transaction times and boosting sales. The app’s push notification feature also complements the new feature by helping the park’s marketing team promote special events and F&B offers.
“We've seen an uptake in pre-purchases for tickets via the app,” said Tiff Kalejta, digital marketing manager at Knoebels Amusement Resort.
“It not only helps us forecast how many people are coming to the park, but when our guests get here, they can just scan their ticket, grab a band, and head in.
“Having the ability to send push notifications to our guests is amazing. We promote our dining experiences and are already seeing an uptake in revenue.”
Having worked with Attractions.io since 2019, the park’s app has become a key part of the overall visitor experience. Utilising the platform, guests can see real-time updates, navigate the park itself and enjoy exclusive promotions. With the addition of Native Purchasing, they can also pre-purchase tickets via the app, significantly speeding up transaction times and eliminating ticket lines for users.
Commenting on the addition, Jacob Thompson, head of Customer Success at Attractions.io said: “Integrating native purchasing into the Knoebels app offers guests a super slick check-out experience, making it easier for guests to buy tickets, passes, and premium experiences ahead of time and spend more time enjoying the park.”
The app has proved to be a major success, with 99% of users reporting a positive experience.
