IAAPA’s board has reviewed show locations for its European Expo, with the show set to appear in the Netherlands, Spain and the UK over the next several years.
Sharing the news in a member update, outgoing board chair Jim Pattison Jr revealed that IAAPA Expo Europe will take place in Amsterdam in 2024, Barcelona in 2025 and London in 2026. The IAAPA board has also approved the location for IAAPA Expo Europe 2027 with details still to be finalised.
IAAPA’s global board met ahead of IAAPA Expo, on November 12, with the organisation revealing record membership at 7,200 companies. The board also outlined its strategic priorities, 2024 business plan and 2024 budget.
Pattison also shared a message as outgoing chair, reflecting on his year in the position.
“With all the things that cause stress in the world including inflation, the economy, wars, and the rapid pace of change around the globe, my experiences over the last year have reminded me how resilient and creative our attractions family really is,” he said.
“I learned a lot this year and am so inspired by your hard work, innovation, perseverance, and most importantly, your passion for our guests, customers, and team members in supporting this incredible industry.”
