This year’s IAAPA Expo Europe, will see AV specialist Christie showcase several of its newest releases and projects.

Visitors to booth B-1234, part of Experience UK’s UK Pavilion, will be able to learn about Christie’s latest services, projects and technologies, including its newly-launched range M 4K+15 RGB and M 4K15 RGB pure laser projectors.

Forming part of Christie’s M 4K RGB series, the new projectors are designed to meet the “demanding requirements” of visitor attractions, including theme parks, museums, live events and projection mapping spectacles.

The projectors weigh just 38.1kg (84lbs), making them the lightest 3DLP projectors in their class, and provide 15,750 lumens.

In addition, Christie will be presenting its new partnership with Illuminarium Experiences and Secret Location, which has seen the company supply projectors and maintenance support to a new immersive attraction in Toronto, Canada.

Called Illuminarium at The Distillery District, the attraction occupies 13,500sq ft (1,207sq m) and features nearly 30 of Christie’s RGB pure laser projectors. Consisting of two immersive show areas, the attraction is designed to place visitors inside the narrative, allowing guests to “see, hear, feel and affect the space around them.”

Six M 4K25 RGB pure laser projectors help set the stage for guests as they enter, lighting up the pre-show area with a combined 150,000 lumens, while 20 Griffyn 4K35-RGB pure laser projectors are installed in the main space.

“We look forward to discussing how our latest AV solutions can deliver memorable shared experiences for the themed entertainment industry,” said Joe Graziano, Christie’s director of sales, Entertainment, EMEA.

“Christie technology, paired with Christie Professional Services to design, deploy and maintain installations, power exceptional theme park dark rides, attractions, immersive experiences, museum exhibits and planetariums.”
