Services on the steam train famously known as the ‘Hogwarts Express’ have been canceled over safety issues.
The Jacobite, made famous for its appearances in the Harry Potter films, had services suspended after operator West Coast Railways identified an issue with the hinged door train carriages.
The heritage railway runs between Fort William and Mallaig across the Glenfinnan Viaduct, with thousands of Potter fanatics traveling to the Scottish highlands every year to ride the historic steam train.
“As of now, passenger journeys on the Jacobite, have been suspended while West Coast Railways review the concerns raised by the ORR to reach a satisfactory and swift solution to the issues raised,” said a statement.
“Please accept our sincere apologies for these cancellations, however, this is completely beyond our control.”
