Game Volt, the gaming and product offshoot of UK-based experiential design firm Conductr, has launched a new social-gaming experience for hospitality and entertainment venues.
Called Hotshots, the new attraction reimagines a classic shooting gallery as a premium digital shooting experience, combining the latest projection technology with high-end hardware and social gameplay to maximise re-playability.
It features an advanced shotgun controller, with an over-and-under double barrel designed to deliver realistic haptic kickback, true-to-life weight and handling and precision tracking for pinpoint accuracy.
Purpose-designed for competitive socialising, Hotshots offers short, high-intensity rounds to keep players engaged, while real-time action replay, competitive formats and a large projector screen enhance the spectator experience.
Hotshots has also been engineered to maximise footfall and drive secondary spend for operators. It boasts a compact foot print, measuring approximately 4m x 6m (43sq ft x 65sqft), as well as a fully-automated system that doesn’t require an attendant, meaning low operating costs.
Additional features include modular and updateable content, including new gaming modes, seasonal overlays and branded IP collaborations, to ensure repeat visits and long-term guest interest.
“For social gaming to work in hospitality venues, the experience has to be instantly engaging, easy to operate, and designed for repeat play. Hotshots delivers on all of this with a premium, immersive shooting experience that is as fun to watch as it is to play. It’s built for venues that want to offer something truly unique that drives footfall and revenue,” said Game Volt CEO and co-founder Peter Cliff.
Jos van der Steen, Game Volt COO and co-founder, said: “We designed Hotshots with venue owners in mind. It’s compact, operator-free and modular, making it easy to install and run with minimal maintenance. Plus, the ability to update game content over time means it’s not just a one-time investment – it’s an evolving platform that keeps guests coming back.”
