The global phenomenon that is Bluey has made its Disney attractions debut, with the IP making its way to the Disney Cruise Line at the start of 2025.

For families boarding a Disney Cruise Line ship departing from Australia and New Zealand, a host of Bluey experiences are now on offer, including meet-and-greets, games and a dance party.

“For the first time ever, Bluey and Bingo are joining Disney Cruise Line on all Australia and New Zealand sailings in 2025 and 2026,” said a Disney Cruise Line statement. “Get ready for fun character greetings and a paw-some dance party where you can unleash your flossing skills. Plus, enjoy all the immersive magic on board, including imaginative dining, Broadway-style shows and adult-exclusive spaces.”

The introduction of the IP into Disney experiences is the result of a collaboration between Bluey producers Ludo Studio, as well as BBC Studios and Disney. The move is also part of a broader expansion by Disney in its relationship with BBC Studios, with Disney having already gained the rights to a Bluey movie, coming out in 2027.

“The Heeler family’s debut really is the icing on the cake for what has been an exceptional year for Bluey,” said BBC Studios’ CEO of brands and licensing, Nicki Sheard.

“We are committed to creating the very best-in-class experiences for our fans and can’t wait to open the doors to families next year.”

In addition to appearing on its cruise line, Disney will also introduce Bluey to its famous parks, though exactly how is yet to be revealed.

Bluey has become a household name for families around the world, and we are thrilled to bring her story to life in new ways,” said Josh D’Amaro, chairman, Disney Experiences.

“We can’t wait to watch our youngest guests and their families make memories with Bluey in our parks and on our cruises.”

In 2024, Bluey was the most-watched series worldwide on Disney+, with the series also ranked as the most streamed in the US.
