The Academy Museum of Motion Pictures is set to host the annual Careers in Film Summit - an event that raises awareness of film-related industry jobs for those seeking a career in filmmaking and for students from under-resourced communities.
The free-to-attend event is aimed at high school students, college students, and those interested in behind-the-camera and film-related industry careers.
Featuring a number of moderated panels, which will be live-streamed, the event will also include live Q&As with Academy members and industry professionals, including Jacqueline Stewart, director and president of the Academy Museum; Annie Chang, vice president of Creative Technologies – Universal Pictures; and Debbie Berman, film editor for Captain Marvel.
Attendees will also be given access to demonstrations, workshops and complimentary professional headshots with Las Fotos Project. They will also gain free entry to the museum itself.
