Drayton Manor and Premier League football club Wolverhampton Wanderers have announced a partnership that will see the theme park become Wolves’ first ever ‘Official Family Partner’.

Located within 45 minutes of Wolves’ Molineux Stadium, Drayton Manor is seen as an ideal partner for the programme.

The scheme will see the theme park and resort support the club’s family-focused offerings for the upcoming season, including sponsorship of the family enclosure, support for the Young Wolves membership programmes, and becoming the main partner of Wolves’ matchday mascot experiences.

Through the partnership, Wolves season ticket holders and members receive special offers and exclusive discount codes throughout the 2024/25 season for Drayton Manor, as well as offering free admission to all matchday mascots.

“2024 is set to be Drayton Manor’s biggest year yet, and this exciting new partnership is a key part of that,” said Victoria Lynn, managing director of Drayton Manor Resort.

“As the Wolves’ official new family partner for 2024/25, the sponsorship brings together two of the Midland’s cultural powerhouses - each representing family, fun and community. We couldn’t be more excited for kick-off.”

According to Wolves’ GM for marketing and commercial growth, Russell Jones, the partnership will also see the addition of special events.

“As one of the leading family attractions in the West Midlands, we’re delighted that Drayton Manor Resort will be supporting our own family offerings, and we’re excited to be working together to enhance the matchday experience for our loyal young fans,” he said.

“We also have some exciting event plans in the pipeline so keep an eye on Wolves and Drayton Manor channels for the latest updates.”

At last year’s UK Theme Park Awards, Drayton Manor picked up the Gold Award for Best Value Theme Park, also winning the top prize for Best Thrill Ride, Best New Event and Best Social Media Content. The park also won awards in categories including Best New Attraction, Best Theme Park for Toddlers, Best Water Ride and Best Customer Service.
