The WWE has announced a five-day event that will take visitors into the heart of the professional wrestling giant with interactive experiences, immersive exhibits and the chance to get up close and personal with real-life WWE Superstars.

Set to coincide with WWE’s annual spectacular WrestleMania, which this year enters its fortieth edition, the new WWE World attraction will be located at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia from April 4-8 and will feature a variety of experiences.

Included in these experiences, immersive exhibits will explore the history of the WWE and Wrestlemania alongside displays featuring WWE memorabilia collected over fourty years. The event will also host roundtable discussions with WWE superstars, a WWE 2K24 gaming tournament, live autograph and memorabilia sales, and the largest WWE Superstore in Wrestlemania history.

WWE has partnered with Fanatics Events on the experience in what will be the company’s debut event.

“Fanatics has a phenomenal ability to customise offerings for fans and we’re excited to partner with them on this first-of-its-kind experience for the WWE Universe at WrestleMania XL,” said Scott Zanghellini, WWE’s co-head of Revenue Strategy and Development.

Fanatics launched its events division in partnership with Endeavour (formerly IMG) in 2023 to capitalise on the company’s growing suite of business ventures, including merchandise, memorabilia, fashion, music, trading cards and sports betting. As of 2023, Endeavour is also the owner of WWE, with the company holding a “significant” minority stake in Fanatics.

“Fanatics Events is thrilled to partner with WWE to host our debut event, WWE World at WrestleMania,” said Lance Fensterman, CEO of Fanatics Events.

“Through unique content, superstar access and immersive experiences, we look forward to curating a captivating event for all fans who are in Philadelphia for WWE’s marquee event.”

The partnership with Fanatics for the experience expands on an existing partnership between the two companies which includes global e-commerce, licensed merchandise and memorabilia, and in-venue product offerings at all of WWE’s 300-plus annual events.

The announcement comes hot on the heels of the launch of WWE’s first major permanent attraction in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Opened February 16, WWE Experience is described as an “unparalleled immersive experience” that allows fans of WWE to relive and experience classic WWE moments and see iconic exhibits from the promotion’s history. Immersive experiences include physical and digital installations, with fans able to live out their dreams of being a WWE Superstar through different activities.
