Multi-time WWE champion and Hollywood action supremo John Cena is encouraging people to visit Abu Dhabi with the launch of a new campaign declaring ‘the time is now’.
Not too dissimilar from Cena’s self-recorded WWE theme, in which he declares “you can’t see me, my time is now”, you can see Cena in this promotional ad, with the WWE star jumping out of a plane, such is his eagerness to visit the UAE's capital city.
Partnering with the Department of Culture and Tourism Abu Dhabi on the project, Cena shared a video through social media, tweeting: “Why wait to land your perfect holiday? #TheTimeIsNow to jump on an adventure #inabudhabi”.
In the ad, as Cena parachutes down, he points out a number of attractions, including Ferrari World and a desert safari before touching down on the roof of Louvre Abu Dhabi. We then see a wide shot from the top of the Louvre, showing the entire city with the accompanying slogan “Abu Dhabi The Time Is Now”.
The film has been released following the announcement that Abu Dhabi is welcoming all international vaccinated travellers and those travelling from Green List countries back to the Emirate, without the need to quarantine.
