The £30m (US$39.6m, €36m) expansion will see the heritage attraction - which shows visitors what life was like through more than 300 years of history - will create new areas specifically dedicated to the 1940s, 1950s and 1960s. T

The first phase of the development will feature 22 new buildings, including a new visitor centre, teaching areas, an industrial area and a new town, which will include a recreation of Wolverhampton's Elephant and Castle pub.
