The Paddington Bear Experience, an immersive attraction themed around the beloved bear, is set to open in London, UK, later this year.
The attraction, occupying 26,000sq ft (2,415sq m) inside County Hall on the city’s Southbank, takes visitors on an adventure with Paddington Bear and the Brown family as they prepare for a special day.
Described as a ‘feast for the senses’, the experience uses physical set pieces combined with live performance and audio-visual to immerse visitors in the story. Themed retail and food and beverage will also be available.
The attraction’s opening coincides with Paddington’s 65th anniversary. The beloved bear first appeared in 1958 in Michael Bond’s A Bear Named Paddington. The Paddington Bear books have since gone on to sell more than thirty-five million copies worldwide.
