A huge new outdoor waterpark centred around a lagoon capable of producing 2m waves has been proposed for the county of Kent in the UK.
Dubbed ‘The Seahive’, the eco-friendly attraction will produce 20 different wave types for people of all ages and abilities, and will also feature wellness facilities, cold water therapy and holiday lodges.
A planning application for the £40m project has been sent to Dover District Council. The proposed attraction would be part of Betteshanger Country Park near Deal.
