A new industry event is set to debut in Manchester, UK, in April, with the inaugural Amusement & Retail Entertainment (ARE) Expo set to bring together professionals from the amusement, leisure, and gaming sectors.
Taking place on April 29-30, 2025, the event will be held at Victoria Warehouse’s Cotton Sheds, offering a showcase of the latest products and technology from leading suppliers across multiple industries.
During the show, attendees will be able to see a wide range of equipment, from payment technology and games to music systems and interactive entertainment solutions. The Expo, says its organisers, aims to explore the changing landscape of entertainment, focusing on trends including competitive socialising in pubs and new developments in a number of areas, including retail-based entertainment hubs. Attendees will also have the opportunity to learn about emerging revenue streams, player engagement strategies, and innovations transforming the sector.
The expo is expected to attract a diverse audience, including arcade operators, pub machine managers, and professionals interested in the latest gaming technologies.
The event will feature two workshop streams run by The Gambling Business Group and The Amusement Network, addressing key industry trends, challenges, and opportunities. The Technology Zone will focus on advancements in payment solutions and customer engagement tools, with many exhibitors already expressing strong interest in the event.
ARE Expo will also offer a First Night Party, sponsored by Novomatic Gaming UK, where exhibitors and visitors can network in a more relaxed setting with live music and entertainment.
“We invite everyone involved in the leisure and retail sectors to join us at the Expo,” said Karen Cooke, Expo organiser.
“This is a fantastic opportunity to see first-hand the innovations shaping the future of our industry. Manchester, known for its vibrant culture and excellent transport links. The city offers great social and networking opportunities, making it an ideal destination for this event.”
