Seven architects and design firms have been named on a shortlist of seven to design a £100m attraction in the heart of Belfast, Northern Ireland.
The team picked for the contract - worth around £5m (US$6.2m, €4.6m) - will create a “world-class, must-see and recognisable” tourist destination inside the Category B-listed former Bank of Ireland in the heart of the city.
Called Belfast Stories, the project aims to open in 2028 and tell the story of the city with “an authentic experience with Belfast’s people and personality at its heart”.
