Amsterdam-based architecture studio Drift has used specialised drone software to create real-life, life-sized visualisations of architectural landmarks, lighting up the skies to show what they would look like should they be restored or completed.
In collaboration with Drone Stories and Nova Sky Stories, Drift has used its drone technology since 2020 to reimagine the future of architecture, going all over the world to produce stunning displays.
Created by duo Ralph Nauta and Lonneke Gordijn, the “aerial sculptures” have imagined a number of structures, including Barcelona’s Sagrada Familia cathedral and Rome’s world-famous Colosseum.
