With just a few months to go until the grand opening of the highly-anticipated Ghibli Park in Nagoya, Japan, the attraction has revealed that tickets will be sold via a lottery-based booking system, with attendance to the attraction being limited to create an atmosphere likened to that of the Ghibli adventures themselves.
Online applications for the tickets are available between August 10 and 22, with winners notified on September 2. Tickets unclaimed by September 9 will then go on sale on a first-come, first-served basis.
The daily entry cap to Ghibli’s Large Warehouse is 3,500 visitors on weekdays and 4,000 on holidays and weekends.
Dondoko Forest has an extremely low visitor cap, with only 650 people allowed to visit each day, while Hill of Youth is open to 780 people per weekday and 900 people per day on holidays and weekends.
