Poland’s Mandoria theme park has teamed up with ride manufacturer Vekoma to introduce Aquila - a world-first indoor Family Launch Coaster now open to the public.
The coaster, along with a brand-new themed zone, marks a significant expansion for the attraction, which continues to expand its year-round offerings in a bid to attract thrill-seekers of all ages.
Aquila is the centrepiece for the park’s new district, which transports visitors to a Renaissance-era city, blending historical charm with modern entertainment, complete with additional attractions and dining options to enhance the guest experience.
A new crown jewel for Mandoria, the rollercoaster addition features a striking 25m (82ft) tower, with riders propelled to speeds of up to 70kmph (43.5mph) in just 3 seconds thanks to an advanced magnetic propulsion system.
According to the park, Aquila promises intense thrills as it races through sharp twists, steep drops, and sudden turns, all within an enclosed indoor environment.
“The opening of the new zone has been a tremendous success,” said Daniel Zieliński, Vice President of Mandoria. “The enthusiasm of our visitors and their interest in Aquila and other attractions are the best proof that Mandoria continues to move in the right direction, delivering unforgettable experiences and exceptional moments.”
Vekoma has designed the coaster to offer something completely new for visitors, with the indoor setting providing the perfect environment for year-round operation. As Mandoria’s fourth rollercoaster, Aquila has been positioned as one of the park's most extreme attractions, combining high-speed thrills with immersive theming.
