Hong Kong Disneyland and Ocean Park finally allowed to reopen after Covid restrictions eased

With Hong Kong’s worst outbreak of Covid-19 finally starting to subside, authorities have relaxed pandemic restrictions, meaning that Disneyland and Ocean Park can finally reopen their doors.






With Hong Kong’s worst outbreak of Covid-19 finally starting to subside, authorities have relaxed pandemic restrictions, meaning that Disneyland and Ocean Park can finally reopen their doors.

Both theme parks were ordered to close again in January following a fifth wave of Covid-19, with 1.2 million cases across a city of 7.4 million people driven by the highly-infectious Omicron variant of the virus.

Theme parks in Hong Kong can now operate at 50% capacity, and visitors must show proof of vaccination to enter.

Disneyland will be open five days a week, closing on Tuesdays and Thursdays, while Ocean Park will be open every day except Tuesday.
