The London Film Museum is set to launch a new exhibition later this month, with Harry Potter taking centre stage for a new photo exhibition.
A new exhibition is set to debut at the London Film Museum (LFM) later this month, with Harry Potter the focus through a series of never-before-seen photographs and behind-the-scenes shots from the Wizarding World film franchises.
Coming to the museum in Covent Garden on July 12, the Harry Potter Photographic Exhibition will document the making of all eight films in the Harry Potter series, as well as the Fantastic Beasts films. It will also feature backstage shots from the West End production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.
The exhibition, which opens 20 years after the release of the first film, will also feature several photo opportunities that use green screen technology, where guests will be able to fly a broom, wear Hogwarts robes and even pose for their own Ministry of Magic identity card.
The experience will be split into three sections, with immersive areas dedicated to Platform Nine and Three-Quarters and the Ministry of Magic. Also featured will be London’s first Butterbeer Bar - a medieval-inspired pop up where guests can enjoy a butterbeer served in a souvenir tankard or buy takeaway bottles for a “spellbinding experience at home”.
Tickets are on sale now and cost £20 (US$27.50, €23) per adult.
