Rock icons Def Leppard are launching a digital museum experience outlining the band’s history all the way from its formation in Sheffield, UK, in 1977, up to the present day.
Launching on January 13, the experience will serve as an online oral history of the band, with memorabilia and stories curated by members: Joe Elliott, Rick Savage, Phil Collen, Rick Allen and Vivian Campbell.
“The Def Leppard Vault is the first-ever collection of artefacts, related stories curated and told by us,” said bassist Rick Savage.
Guitarist Phil Collen said: “The world is shut down at the moment. It was the perfect time to reflect and raid our closets, basements and actually do a collection of artefacts that we’ve lost or found.”
Fans can ‘unlock the vault’ by signing up to the, Leppard Vault website, where they will be able to access the museum via an entry code once it launches.
