France’s Parc Asterix is introducing a new experience for the holiday season as part of the return of its Christmas in Gaul event later this year.
Taking place from December 21st through to January 5th, Christmas in Gaul turns the popular theme park into a winter wonderland.
New for the season is La Glissade d'Obélix, a visitor experience that will see visitors fly down the slope of Mont Gaulois in Obelix-themed rubber rings.
Other temporary attractions will feature at the event, including four toboggan runs and two ice rinks, as well as a new Christmas tavern and the Christmas Market. Appearing at the Christmas market will be Gaulish Father Christmas.
Events taking place during the event also include Santa's Wonderful Gardens, The Gaulish Christmas Parade, The Island of Wishes and more.
