Knott’s Berry Farm has announced several additions to Camp Snoopy, with Zamperla set to provide three new attractions for the themed land.
The first attraction - Snoopy’s Tenderpaw Twister Coaster - will be a themed version of Zamperla’s Family Coaster 155. Zamperla’s Super Happy Swing 16 will be the second ride addition, which will be themed as Sally’s Swing Along. Finally, the supplier’s Convoy Dino Jeeps will open as Camp Snoopy’s Off-Road Rally.
“All these rides will have a fantastic theme using the Peanuts IP,” said Ramon Rosario, Zamperla’s sales director. “They will be new experiences for parkgoers but themed to fit the great storytelling found at Knott’s Berry Farm.”
The project, says Zamperla, represents three decades of the company working alongside Knott’s Berry Farm on new attractions.
“Experiencing first rides and first theme park moments as a family, is what Knott’s is all about,” said Jon Storbeck, the park’s vice president and general manager.
“Our newly reimagined Camp Snoopy will allow parents and kids to ride and play together and be truly immersed in a summer camp experience right alongside the entire Peanuts Gang.”
