Zamperla has provided the anchor attraction for Florida’s new Peppa Pig attraction, which opened its doors to the public last week.
The family coaster, called ‘DaddyPig’s Roller Coaster’, sees guests enter through Peppa Pig’s house, before boarding the 11 car, 22-seat ride vehicle.
Aimed at the junior thrillseeker, the ride reaches a maximum height of 4.4m (14.5ft) and reaches top speeds of up to 26kmph (16mph).
“We really enjoy projects like this,” said Alberto Ferri, Zamperla’s Roller Coaster division director. “This is the largest pig we have designed for one of our coasters, but our team has experience with detailed theming and it was a unique challenge. Plus, we have enjoyed updating our classic family coaster so it remains state-of-the-art.”
