That’s the question waterpark supplier WhiteWater has asked ahead of a special session that will look at how iconic attractions are made and why operators need one at their parks.

Set for October, the IAAPA education webcast will see industry influencers explain the characteristics of an iconic attraction, if the term iconic is overused and how something could become iconic with experiential enhancements.

For those attending, they will learn several key points about attraction development, including how to evaluate the ride mix between iconic attractions and having a wider demographic appeal. They will also learn how to engage guests in making an attraction iconic and how to develop an iconic attraction on a budget. Finally, they will learn about maximising ROI and how to drive a successful marketing campaign around an iconic attraction.
