• Copenhagen’s tourist body is offering visitors to the Danish city the chance to pay for a variety of attractions in the city by completing a number of climate-friendly actions
• French historic attraction operator Puy du Fou has announced plans to open its first UK theme park in Oxfordshire
• SeaWorld Orlando’s snowmobile-themed Penguin Trek has opened to the public, with visitors able to meet real-life penguins alongside the family launch coaster experience
• A collection of 38 UK theme parks will battle it out in this year’s UK Theme Park Awards, with Alton Towers, Thorpe Park and Blackpool Pleasure Beach among the heavyweights set to go head-to-head for the title of the UK’s best theme park
• A summer of fun is the focus for a new campaign from Merlin which for the first time is bringing all of its UK attractions under one identity for a new brand campaign
• The redeveloped Nassau Cruise Port is looking for family-friendly options to add to its offering, with plans announced to develop a US$35m waterpark as part of the tourist destination
• Disney and Oriental Land are coming together to launch a brand new cruise ship in Japan
• The River is a first-of-its-kind exhibition for London’s Natural History Museum, with acclaimed Norwegian artist Jana Winderen using sound to explore the world below the surface of the River Thames
