Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience will debut in Southeast Asia following successful runs in the US and across Europe.
The exhibition, scheduled to open at premium lifestyle destination Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) in Singapore in March 2023, is the result of a four-way partnership between RWS, activation and engagement company H&B and experience developers Exhibition Hub and Fever.
The 360-degree digital and VR art experience immerses visitors in the art of Vincent Van Gogh with large-scale, floor-to-ceiling projections of more than 300 of the artist’s works. The experience is anchored by a ‘mesmerising space’ where visitors can sit and absorb the artwork.
The Singapore version will also feature two new and exclusive displays showcasing traditional Japanese wood blocking, which influenced Van Gogh’s art style in the 1880s, and Japanese hospitality with an authentic matcha tea ceremony.
“Van Gogh: The Experience has been mesmerising guests globally with its cutting-edge technology in immersive art,” said Scott Peterson, VP of lifestyle at RWS.
“Hosting this exhibition marks RWS’s unwavering deviation to blaze the trail in scaling up and curating remarkable offerings for our guests to enjoy.”
