Unesco’s World Heritage Centre has launched its Patrimonito Storyboard Competition - an initiative which aims to provide young people with an opportunity to use their creative and problem-solving skills to raise awareness about World Heritage.
Open for ages 12 to 18, the competition is welcoming young people to create storyboards on the theme of climate change and World Heritage, with the best submission to be professionally produced into an animated film for global distribution to schools and at World Heritage education events.
Participants can either create the storyboards by hand or using digital tools, with the deadline for submissions being September 30. So far, 14 episodes of Patrimonito’s World Heritage Adventures have been produced and are available through the Unesco World Heritage Website and its social media channels.
