Birmingham's big wheel and another fairground ride that were closed when a neighbouring attraction failed and injured 13 people will reopen in the coming days, the BBC understands.
Two people were taken to hospital when the City Star Flyer in Centenary Square started going backwards before carriages dropped towards the ground on 12 December.
The injured have described being hit by flying glass and suffering wounds to their face, legs and arms.
Two people, aged 55 and 21, have been bailed after they were arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice and obstructing officers, while the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) is also investigating.
