Popular British theme park Thorpe Park is bidding farewell to Derren Brown but not the ghost train currently sharing his name, with the operator revealing plans for a major overhaul of the experience simply dubbed ‘Ghost Train’.

Set to open in the spring, the ‘next generation of Ghost Train’ will take visitors on a harrowing ride into the realms beneath the resort, which the supernatural believers call home.

Ghost Train will be one of the UK’s longest ride experiences featuring live actors and multisensory effects. The VR element used in the Derren Brown version will also be removed.
