Virtual reality specialist Spree has been named winner of the People’s Choice Award at this year’s MAPIC event, with the recognition adding to an ever-expanding list of industry awards and nominations picked up in 2022.

Competing against 60 other companies in the retail, leisure and food industries for the prestigious prize, the People’s Choice Award is decided by public vote.

“Our success is due to our focus on offering active, social, and fun VR experiences to markets that are typically underserved,” said Jonathan Nowak Delgado, Spree’s co-founder and managing director.

“We aim to transform any empty space into a fully interactive VR experience zone, attracting young and old, helping families to share experiences together.”
