Ticketing technology specialist Gateway Ticketing Systems has appointed Sharon Parker to the role of senior manager of marketing.

Ticketing technology specialist Gateway Ticketing Systems has appointed Sharon Parker to the role of senior manager of marketing.
Parker joins the company from Six Flags Over Texas and Hurricane Harbor, where she worked for 15 years in several roles, including communications manager, director of marketing and entertainment, and, most recently, general manager. During her tenure, Parker was responsible for managing the development and execution of all marketing elements for the Six Flag brand at its original theme park location.
Her experience also includes a stint as the external communications coordinator and primary spokesperson at The Fort Worth Independent School District in Texas, US, and more than 10 years as an on-air news anchor at KWTX-TV in Waco, Texas.
Parker’s appointment forms part of the company’s plan to grow its branding and marketing footprint.
“Sharon’s impressive marketing experience in the attractions industry will most definitely be a boon to Gateway’s continued success,” said Peter Wolf, director of sales and marketing.
“Even more so, her passion and positivity will add much to Gateway both internally and with customer satisfaction and dedication.”
