Shanghai Science and Technology Museum launches digital platform to engage young visitors in science

The Shanghai Science and Technology Museum in Pudong, China, has unveiled a new digital platform that aims to engage children in science.






The Shanghai Science and Technology Museum in Pudong, China, has unveiled a new digital platform that aims to engage children in science.

The platform offers a series of digital games, including one created in partnership with game developer Happy Elements that educates players about the Giant Panda National Park and wildlife protection.

According to museum director Wang Xioming, the Science Game Development and Collaboration Platform was inspired by New York’s American Museum of Natural History’s Ology platform which features 66 scientific games to engage children in science.
