Royal Caribbean to point fingers over Whakaari volcano tragedy

Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd is looking to blame Tourism New Zealand and the Institute of Geological and Nuclear Science (GNS) for the deaths and injuries to passengers who went to Whakaari White Island while travelling on its Ovation of the Seas cruise liner.






Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd is looking to blame Tourism New Zealand and the Institute of Geological and Nuclear Science (GNS) for the deaths and injuries to passengers who went to Whakaari White Island while travelling on its Ovation of the Seas cruise liner.

The US-based company, which is the second largest cruise company in the world, is next month appearing in a Florida court to face civil claims by victims and families of victims injured or killed in the tragedy.
