The Museum of Ice Cream (MOIC) has partnered with several major ice cream brands to celebrate forty years of National Ice Cream Day, with the popular attraction offering unlimited ice cream at special pop-ups in select locations worldwide.

Spanning four major cities - New York, Chicago and Austin and Singapore - the celebration will see more than 20,000 samples dished out alongside a multi-sensory experience including the world's biggest outdoor sprinkle pool.

First in New York, a pop-up at Hudson Yards will see Cotton Candy and Rainbow Ice Dippin' Dots distributed, with the museum also offering exclusive ticket discounts at all Dippin' Dots stores. The MOIC and Dippin’ Dots are also offering the chance to win a year’s worth of Dippin’ Dots and an unlimited year of access to all Museum of Ice Cream locations worldwide.

In Austin, Texas, Blue Bell Creameries has partnered with MOIC to give away free vanilla and chocolate ice cream cups via a bright pink ice cream truck in front of Music Lane. The museum is also teaming up with the South Congress Merchant Association for a summer giveaway, partnering with dozens of local merchants in Austin to offer special discounts.

In Chicago, Illinois, MOIC has selected Dove Ice Cream as its partner. Founded on the south side of the city in 1956, Dove will be sharing samples of its original ice cream bars until supplies last.

Finally in Singapore, MOIC is teaming up with Denzy Gelato, to offer “delicious sweet treats and sprinkle pool fun”. MOIC and Denzy will also host a scavenger hunt, with visitors hunting for a unicorn squishy every two hours. If they find the unicorn, they can present it to staff in exchange for a year-long membership to MOIC.

“National Ice Cream Day is the biggest celebration of Museum of Ice Cream's core values and aligns with our mission to create connection and joy through a shared love of ice cream,” said Maryellis Bunn, co-founder and co-CEO of Museum of Ice Cream.

“We're thrilled to surprise, delight, and unite ice cream fans worldwide in the most fun way we could think of - a giant pool of sprinkles and free ice cream.”

The announced activations are free to visit with no tickets required. At each site, MOIC will offer 15% off tickets to all its locations.
