A touring Louis Vuitton exhibition has landed in Los Angeles, California, US, with 200 Trunks, 200 Visionaries: The Exhibition celebrating the 200th anniversary of Louis Vuitton’s birth.
Part of the ‘Louis 200’ project, a group of creatives spanning arts and culture, the sciences, sports, global causes and more were invited to personalise a metaphorical blank canvas measuring approximately the same dimensions of the first trunk that Louis conceived in 1858.
The travelling show arrived in Los Angeles on July 28 following its debut at the brand’s gallery in Asnières, France. Adapted to reflect the spirit of its new home, the multi-room exhibition showcases specially-designed spaces by LA natives.
The exhibition will be on display through to September 6, with visitors able to reserve a free-of-charge-visit here
