The Victorian Village, a much-loved heritage exhibit from Flambards Theme Park in Cornwall, was at risk of being broken up and sold in individual lots following the park’s recent closure. Thanks to Kynren’s commitment to authentic historical storytelling, this extraordinary collection will remain intact, providing the setting for a walk-through experience that will transport visitors to the heart of Victorian England.

Originally developed in the late 1970s, the Flambards Victorian Village grew into one of the most detailed period recreations in the UK. Designed to immerse visitors in the world of late 19th century Britain, the village features over 40 sets and scenes with authentic shopfronts and interiors, including a haberdashery, pawn brokers, apothecary, blacksmith, grocers, tobacconist, jewellers, milliner, toy shop, and even a Victorian schoolroom and inn. It also showcases meticulously restored household settings, such as a period kitchen, nursery, and living quarters, capturing the daily life of the era with thousands of genuine artefacts.
