Efteling in the Netherlands is gearing up for its annual winter celebration, with guests set to enter a winter wonderland starting November 15.
Running through to February 6, the theme park will be decorated with festive garlands, bonfires, crackling wood-burning stoves and thousands of lights. All the rides and the Efteling inhabitants will also be prepared for winter “in their own special way”.
The Warme Winter Weide winter garden, returns after making its debut in 2020, offering a nostalgic festive atmosphere where guests can enjoy musical entertainment among snow-covered fir trees.
The park’s Fairytale Forest will also be illuminated in the evenings to “add extra enchantment” to the fairytale scenes.
Set to debut on December 4, the season will also welcome Bäckerei Krümel - Efteling’s newest dining establishment. Located on Max & Moritz Square, the artisan bakery and its selection of baked goods take inspiration from a traditional German Konditorei.
