Dubai Parks and Resorts and Global Village have joined forces with charity Pink Caravan to provide direct, accessible support and raise awareness about breast cancer.
Running through October, Pink Caravan’s mobile clinic will offer a number of complimentary services, including 20 mammogram screenings for women aged 40 and above. The clinic will also conduct 80 clinical breast examinations for women aged 20 to 39. One-on-one health sessions will also be on offer, allowing women to learn about the importance of self-breast examinations, early detection and preventive measures.
“Raising awareness and organising these screenings for both our guests and staff has the potential to save lives,” said Al Anood Al Hashemi, vice president - Organisational Culture and Impact for Dubai Parks and Resorts and Global Village’s parent company, Dubai Holding Entertainment. “Our unwavering dedication is to create a positive impact on our community.”
